The money waits until the package arrives.
Buying from a stranger online means someone has to go first. WePayGuard holds the buyer's payment while the seller ships, and releases it once delivery is confirmed — so neither side has to trust the other on faith.

A protected payment, end to end
Buyer pays
Both sides agree the amount and terms in the app. The buyer funds the transaction.
WePayGuard holds
The money sits with us — not with the seller — while the seller ships against a deadline.
Delivery is proven
Courier tracking and proof of shipment, or a photo of the in-person handoff.
Seller is paid
The buyer accepts, or the inspection window expires. If the package never arrives, the buyer is refunded.
Every step above is recorded in an audit trail both parties can see. Read the full walkthrough →
For buyers
Pay a stranger without paying first.
- Your money is held, not forwarded — the seller can't take it and disappear.
- The seller commits to a delivery deadline. Miss it, and you can take a refund.
- You get an inspection window after delivery before funds release.
- If the package never arrives, you can open a non-delivery dispute and the held money stays frozen until it's resolved.
For sellers
Prove you shipped it. Get paid for it.
- The buyer's money is confirmed and held before you pack anything.
- Carrier tracking and shipping proof become your evidence, not your word.
- Payment releases automatically if the buyer goes quiet after the inspection window.
- Need one more day? Request a deadline extension in the app.
Two ways to pay
Protection when it matters. Speed when it doesn't.
Not every deal needs escrow. Picking up a bike from someone two streets away is different from wiring money to a stranger in another state.

Being straight with you
What version 1 does not cover.
Protected Payment in this release protects against non-delivery only. If the package arrives, the protection has done its job — even if what's inside disappoints you. We'd rather say that plainly now than let you find out during a dispute.

Server decides, not the app
Clients can't move money or change transaction state. Every critical decision is made and enforced on our backend.
Append-only audit trail
Payments, deadlines, delivery evidence and dispute outcomes are all written to a record neither party can edit.
Google Cloud & Firebase
Authentication, database and file storage run on Google infrastructure with access rules verified before release.
You only see your own deals
